Our vet has perscribed "Fucidin" ointment for our dog. I notice that this is for humans. Is it alright to use it?

Vets quite often prescribe human products for animals, antibiotics for example are often the same for both dogs and humans. I guess this is Fucidin Ointment you have been given the active ingredient of which is fucidic acid : LINK

This is no problem, I have frequently used veterinary products such as Fuciderm which also contains fucidic acid. Here is a link to the veterinary data sheet of Fuciderm. : LINK
