how do you know when your dog needs stitches? MY dog has a smal lcut on her forehead area? I cleaned it with peroxide and put antibotic ointment on it.

cleaned with hydrogen peroxide and put on antibotic ointment
When did your dog acquire this lesion and how?
How many inches or cm. in length is the cut?
Is it actively bleeding?
Does the cut look like a scrape on the skin, or an actual cut through the skin?

Not sure how she got the injury.

Not even an inch probably about 2-3 cm.

It bleed enough to show on her fur (she is white in color) but not currently bleeding.

Not a scrape an actual cut/hole on her forehead, between her ears.

If it is an actual hole of the size that you describe, then it likely needs to be sutured closed. I recommend that you take her in to the vet as soon as possible to have this taken care of, as the closer to the time of injury that the repair is done, the better chances that you have of it healing quickly and neatly.

I hope that this information is of help to you, and I wish you the best of luck with your dog. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
