There is no humane way to euthanize your pet at home. Any way at home without your vet's assistance would cause the dog even more pain and suffering and may not even do what you are trying to accomplish. Trying to accomplish this at home might also be considered animal abuse as well. Many vets will now come to your home for this purpose.   If your vet doesn't provide ths service, ask him for a referral to one that does. Sometime they are in the phone book as mobile vets. Your local humane society may also provide this service at a low or reduced cost as well.

The following site has a search that can help you locate a mobile vet in your area.   Many vets will stop by your home even if they are not a mobil vet to perform a euthanisia.

I do urge you to not attempt to euthanize your dog with medication you have at home.
