This answer was rated:

My dog ate, chewed up, half a tube of Neosporin? Will it make her sick? She weighs 33 lbs.

Did the Neosporin contain the 'plus pain relief' component?

Did she eat the tube, too? It was a small tube, right?

How is she acting now?

Reply to Cher's Post: Tube is just regular, no "pain relief" Tube is half chewed up, but I think she spit out chewed tube part, but ate contents. Tube is 1/2 oz.size and was about half used. She is acting normal.
Hello again, and thanks for your reply with additional information.

Your dog should be fine. The Neosporin is not toxic, but might cause some loose stools, so be prepared for that. I'm glad she most likely didn't ingest any of the tube part!

Monitor her eating, drinking, elimination, and behavior, and if she should exhibit any unusual symptoms, or seem to be in distress, have her evaluated by the vet.

I don't think this should cause a major problem for her, though.

I hope all will be well!
