She should not be washed while she is nursing. Pups are not normallly given baths until they are over 8 weeks old. Very young pups can die from chilling if bathed.
In particular you cannot use flea shampoos on mom or pups.
You can take a damp towel and wash the mother down if she is dirty from birthing along her pantaloons or you can trim the coat back so the normal after birth discharge does not build up on it.
If you have a flea problem you can use Frontline on the mother or Capstar and fleas on the pups will move to mom and be killed as they normally go back and forth between mom and pups.
Clean bedding and the mom washing them should help keep the pups clean.
