Hi Pugmommy,

Dogs normally only bleed about 3 weeks with it strating out a bright red or blackish green going to red, tapering off to a pale pink or tan before disappearing entirely. Each dog is different, but at this point she should not have a lot of bleeding and it shouldn't be dark or red. If your dog has a Green, smelly discharge from her vulva, fever, loss of appetite and listlessness, it is possible she has a uterine infection due to bacteria or a retained placenta and needs to be seen immediately. It is likely she has metritis which is a uterine infection.

Even with bleeding she could still have metritis, so I do suggest that you have her seen so your vet can check her over. I hope this information is helpful to you.
