Can I give my dying dog oxycodone

Customer Question

I am a recent cancer survivor and have oxycodone. My 14 year-old dog, Bob, is in terribly pain and is dying. Can I give him oxycodone to relieve his pain?

Dear friend,

I am so very sorry your boy is suffering like this. My heart goes out to you.But please do not give Bob oxycodone. That drug is not formuated for dogs and will only make things worse and add to your babys pain.

The only safe thing you can give him is aspirin or a drug made for dogs..

If you give me your zipcode I will try tohelp you locate a mobile vet that can come over and help Bob.

Please let me know if you want me to do that. I will always be here for you and your boy.

I am so glad you survived cancer.

May God bless both of you and keep you safe.

Sincerest best wishes always,

Thank you for all your help. It pains me even more simply because I truly know how difficult it can be, and to see my boy go through this is worse than me going through what I went through.

God bless,

I understand and empathize because I just lost a furry child myself. I am praying that one of the vets I sent you will be able to help.

May God bless you and watch over you always,
