Will fresh apples hurt dogs

This answer was rated:

We have four dogs and when I'm eating an apple they want a piece
In general with fruit like this the dogs do fine with it but you want to avoid them eating the seeds. Apples, pears, peaches, apricots are OK if you give just the fruit but the pits or seeds have toxins in them that you wouldn't want your dog eating.
Hope this helps you!

what about grapes? is the seeds again?
Grapes are a problem and no one is sure why but as some dogs have gone into kidney failure after eating them its best not to feed those to dogs.
Avocados are also not safe and macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs.
In addition to the ones I listed as safe some dogs like orange sections and cantalope.
