weight of a 3 month old miniature dachshund

Customer Question

how much should a miniature dachshund weight at 3 months if it is going to be around 7 - 8 pounds as an adult

Usually you double the weight at 16 weeks for an aproximate adult weight.
You might get an aproximation if you double the weight at 12 weeks and add 1-2 pounds if the pup is under 4 pounds now or 2-4 pounds if the dog is over 4 pounds now.
But if the pup weighs 5 pounds now it won't be likely to be under 8 pounds as an adult.
Hope this helps you!
