IF MY DOG ATE ONE ALMOND, WILL IT HURT HER? SHOULD I CALL MY VET, OR JUST WAIT? PLEAE HELP!

You should be OK with one almond even in a small dog. Eating this type of nut could possibly cause vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or cramps in a dog.
Almonds do contain a small amount of cyanide but usually the dog would have to eat a big quantity of them to be impacted.
Now if the dog ate shell and all gastric upset is more likely from the sharp shell fragments.
If you are really worried and the dog ate the nut within the last hour you can get her to vomit it up using 3% hydrogen peroxide which you can read about here scrolling down this page

Or you can call your vet to see if they'd suggest bringing her in for a shot to make her vomit.
