Although people can get a type of parvovirus (called the Minute virus) that causes severe arthritis, dogs cannot transmit their parvo to people and the people parvovirus does not affect dogs. The puppies need to get treatment because if they are having vomiting and diarrhea, then they will get dehydrated rapidly. They may have picked up some type of virus or they may have worms.
