i six puppies, three days old, do i dock their tails or not?

The blue heeler is also called the Australian Cattle dog.
The AKC standard does not suggest docking
In this breed the tails are not docked in their country of origin which is Australia.
No one knows who started the idea of docking this breed here in the US but breed fanciers do not believe it should be done as they use the tail as a rudder when making the sharp turns needed during herding or when just playing games such as frisbee and tennis ball chasing.
