Are grub worms toxic to dogs

Could grub worms be toxic to a dog if they eat alot of them?

The grubs are just protein to the dogs.
The only danger would be is if they had been poisoned and had a toxic chemical on them.
They could cause digestive upset if they have any harsh bristles to them or if the dog eats a lot of them as they can have a lot of fats in their tissue.
