Weed Killer and Dogs

What is a safe weed killer that I can spread on my lawn to kill dandelions, but won't hurt Milo (4.5 month old Maltese puppy)? He goes outside with me a lot, and tends to chew on grass, weeds, sticks, etc.

You can use pretty much any granulated product. Try to use it before a heavy rain or before you can heavily soak the yard with water. Apply it to the yard, soak with water (or rain) and THEN wait 24 hours before letting him have free access.

If you follow this process, you should be just fine. Be sure and walk him on a leash outside (of your own yard) so that he won't pick up the granules on his feet. These can seriously stain the carpet.
