My dog just swallowed a rubberband...what should i do

I would just keep an eye on him and see what comes up - or out!

There's a good chance that the rubber band will pass on its own. If you look closely, you will probably be able to see it in his stool and you'll know that he's safe.

You could try to make him bring it back up by giving a couple of tablespoons of peroxide. My fear with that, though, is that he might choke on it on the way back up.

If your pup develops diarrhea or starts to vomit, he might have an obstruction caused by the rubber band. At that point, you would need a vet to take a look.
