ok, so that is very young....and you say she has eaten nothing for 2 days?

Ask Your Own Cat Question
Cat Vet: Dr B, Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

Ok, this is going to require a vet visit as soon as possible. When a kitten does not eat anything for 48 hours then something is really wrong......and a kitten this age can die very soon from not eating......I hope this makes sense....

yeah but she drinks water. I don't understand what is the reason.and shes very healthy
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
she's playful and always cuddling
Cat Vet: Dr B, Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

She is not healthy if she is not eating.....something is wrong....have you tried any canned food?

Cats can be playful and still be sick.....

Ask Your Own Cat Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
I tried. The breeder told me she prefers dry food or rice/mashed carrots/boiled chicken breast but i tried that too yesterday and still nothing
Cat Vet: Dr B, Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

Even if nothing is wrong you still need to take her to a vet an get her checked out and have them get her some critical care diet....and they can get some food into her and also figure out why she is not eating...when cats do not eat...something is wrong..

The vet said that the information and my following it will be what made the difference. Thanks again for being so very helpful.

My oldest male cat had a seizure this evening. This site was the first place I could think of to go after the seizure had passed. Dr. Lucy was fantastic and she was spot on!

DebbieUSA

I must tell you I found this site by accident and was amazed when I asked a question of the Veteranians online. I wish I could have found it sooner it could have made such a difference in the outcome of my pet's surgery. However, I am passing along the information to my sister-in-law (a cat-rescue person who is also a nurse), and perhaps it will help someone else who may experience the same problem. The doctor who answered my question was amazing, and while it didn't come it time to change the outcome of my situation, it is reassuring to know the caliber of Vets/Doctors that you have at JustAnswer. Thank you for being there.

Wonderful service, prompt, efficient, and accurate. Couldn't have asked for more. I cannot thank you enough for your help.
