Customer Question
Not eating or drinking...

Not eating or drinking, very lethargic. He has fleas and we bought one of the Selesstrol

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Expert will know how to help the cat. What is the cat's name and age?

Felix. When we got him from a friend of ours (they didn't know how old he was)

Veterinarian's Assistant: How old is Felix?

The vet figured apx 3.

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Felix?

Yes. He doesn't like us to touch him in a certain place on the back of his rear leg. Hides under the beds

Good morning, JACustomer. I am replying to your question this morning as you opted out of the question last night, which locked my ability to respond overnight. I asked a moderator to open the thread again so that I could respond to you again.

Can you check the name of the product you're using again? I have googled Selesstrol and found nothing. Is it Seresto, by chance?

Have any diagnostics been performed thus far, such as bloodwork?

I will use your service again. I was very pleased with the response and the fact that you have a low cost option so that those of us on fixed income can have questions answered. I will also recommend you to others.

The vet said that the information and my following it will be what made the difference. Thanks again for being so very helpful.

My oldest male cat had a seizure this evening. This site was the first place I could think of to go after the seizure had passed. Dr. Lucy was fantastic and she was spot on!

DebbieUSA

I must tell you I found this site by accident and was amazed when I asked a question of the Veteranians online. I wish I could have found it sooner it could have made such a difference in the outcome of my pet's surgery. However, I am passing along the information to my sister-in-law (a cat-rescue person who is also a nurse), and perhaps it will help someone else who may experience the same problem. The doctor who answered my question was amazing, and while it didn't come it time to change the outcome of my situation, it is reassuring to know the caliber of Vets/Doctors that you have at JustAnswer. Thank you for being there.
