Hello, my name is***** and I will do my best to help you. I am reviewing your question now and I will post back to you ASAP.

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Could you please tell me if she has normal vision? Drop a cotton ball a foot in front of her and watch if she can track it with her eyes?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Played with my laser pointer
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
She has tried to lick he per area about 5 times in the past hr. This is what she used to do when she had a urinary infection last year. But, I just cleaned out plenty of pee from her car box.
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

That's good.

Now check if her eyes are the same?

Also does she have a head tilt?

You said she walks in a circle. Is that just around you or all of the time?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Sorry, I meant just walking around the house really slow.
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
No head tilt. Just very mopey
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

What about other questions?

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

So she will play. That's good.

What about appetite, urination and defecation?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
She keeps trying to lick her pee area. I'm worried she has a uti. Last time this happened though I would see her squat to pee for 10 mins and no pee. That hasn't happened ye.
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
She ate when I got home from work but had not eaten while I was at work. Not normal. She drank a bit of water for me
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Licking is an early sign of UTI or even a small bladder stone she feels in her urethra.

Please take her in to you vet to check that. You want to catch a UTI right away.

Can this wait until tomorrow morning? Today is her first sign of something wrong. Abby is my life so I know the second she isn't acting right
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Yes, she should be alright.

One question I didn't ask you was if she was spayed.

Because a cat coming into heat will also lick her uro-genital area.

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

It is very good that you are so observant of Abby. Cats can hide that they are not feeling well and often it takes a very observant owner to tell that something is wrong.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
she is spayed.
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

OK, so we know that it's not that. So let's check that bladder tomorrow.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Ok. Thank you. Is it normal when there is uti issues for them to sort of mope around the house?
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Yes, if she is uncomfortable, possibly running a low fever (which affects her appetite and activity) has painful urination (I don't mean straining which you can see) she can feel "under the weather".

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Because she was spayed it cannot be a uterine problem.

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Any more questions I can help you with?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I think that's it for now...
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

It was a pleasure helping you and Abby.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Went to ER at 4am. She had milky red discharge from her back end. It was an abscess caused by an animal bite.
Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

OMG! That is a huge abscess. So she wasn't licking her urogenital ares but the discharge from her abscess on the back of her left leg.

I'm so glad that you took her in.

Expert:  Dr Marta Lepes replied 8 months ago.

Thanks for the update.
