We have a feral kitten we have been caring for, earlier

Customer Question

Hello there
JA: Hello. What seems to be the problem?
Customer: We have a feral kitten we have been caring for, earlier tonight, it was fine. Then when I went in to feed it, it wouldn't come out of it's little carrier with the others to eat I reached in to get him out and he started crying and moving around alot... like it is having seizuresor somehting It won't eat,, and just wants to lie there. When I try to pick it up it is like it is in pain and starts thrashing arounde
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. The noise must be worrying. I'll connect you to the Veterinarian. What is the kitten's name?
Customer: My daughter calls it sage
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about the kitten?
Customer: About a week ago, just a couple of days after we brought it in the house, we went in to feed it, and it was limp and sort of cold, my daughter kept it warm and the next day it was ok

It sounds like this kitten may be having episodes of low blood sugar. Is it smaller than the others? How old are the kittens and what are you feeding them? Is the mother around?
