Customer Question

Hi Pearl, I have an indoor/outdoor cat that has been sick the past 2 days. He won't eat but will drink water.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the cat's name?
Customer: Louie, he usually sleeps all day inside and leaves at night, however, today he slept outside in the rain under our kayak, which is unlike him to stay wet or even to go outside in the rain
JA: Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Veterinarian will know how to help the cat. Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about the cat?
Customer: - never been sick for longer than 1 day
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Veterinarian about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello and thank you for your question. It appears that the Expert you were hoping to speak with is not currently available. I have stepped in to assist you in their absence so that you have a prompt reply to your question. If you would rather wait for the Expert you had originally contacted, just let me know. Otherwise, I’ll be happy to assist you today. Is it possible for me to obtain some additional information from you about your companion?1) Is Louie intact or neutered? 2) Any vomiting or diarrhea? 3) When was Louie's last normal meal? 4) Are you seeing any limping or swelling on his body?
