Hi Andrea,I am sorry you are worried about Arthur.Red blood is usually caused by a parasite. Most kittens are born with them Arthur should be wormed twice 3 weeks apart. This insures all hatching eggs are killed.Other causes could be swallowing a sharp item like an earring post, diarrhea or constipation.Rubbing on the carpet is a sign of worms or an anal sac issue. As long as Arthur is eating an eliminating normally, I would give him an all around wormer now and again in three weeks. If he has loose stools give him a tablespoon of rice cereal added to a tin of wet cat food.He should also get a half tsp a day of plain yogurt for "good" bacteria. Please let me know how he is doing. Please be so kind as to rate my answer with positive feedback; that is the only way I receive credit for my assistance. Thank you very much!Providing a positive rating will not end our conversation, should you need me for any follow-up.
