Customer Question

Hi, my cat has a skin infection which has caused her fur to fall, her white fur to turn brown and black patches around her nose.
She eats constantly but has lost a lot of wait.
She is being treated with a steroid and an anti-fungal medicine but they're not working.
Over the last couple of days she has started to urinate and poo in the house as if she can't control her bladder or bowel.
Any advise would be appreciated.

I agree with you. Her polyphagia (increased hunger) yet losing weight suggests serious metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, and Cushing's disease. Steroids would be contraindicated if she were diabetic or cushingoid. How old is Cassie, please?

I'm just following up on our conversation about Cassie. How is everything going?
