Customer Question

My almost 4 month old kitten had her vaccines yesterday and was fine until late this morning. She began to vomit and have diarrhea once. What should I be doing that I haven't already tried. Kitty Titus

I am so sorry Sienna is not feeling well.
It is normal for a kitten to have a reaction to vaccines but the effects should not last more than 48 hours.
She may have a slight fever. Normal for a cat is 100 - 102.5
Pick up all dry food. Offer her pate canned cat food or baby food chicken or turkey with no onion or garlic. Add one tablespoon of rice cereal to clear up the diarrhea.
Also give her one half tsp of plain yogurt every day for good bacteria.
If she throws up she can have one quarter of a ten mg pepcid a/c (famtidine) in a tablespoon of baby food.
Please let me know how she is doing. Just press reply and I will be here for you.
