Bless you for saving this precious baby!
Can you estimate her age or weight?
What was she eating up to now?
Is she able to urinate fine?
After your reply please give me a few minutes to type detailed answer

4-5 weeks , urinating fine , eating mixture of kmr and kitten food , was on bottle but now refusing

Cat Vet: Terri, Feline Healthcare Expert replied 3 years ago
Dear Rahni,
Thanks so much for your very helpful reply.
Stop the bottle because she could bite off a piece of nipple and choke or get a blockage.
Get a rectal thermometer, dip the tip in vaseline. Insert it into her rectum about an inch. Gently move it back and forth. It should bring on stool within an hour. If not, you can repeat it.
See if she will lap up tuna water you have drained from the can.
Remove all dry food. Offer her canned kitten food or baby food chicken or turkey with no onion or garlic.
Please write back and let me know how she is doing. Just press reply and I will be here for you.
Love,
Terri

The vet said that the information and my following it will be what made the difference. Thanks again for being so very helpful.

My oldest male cat had a seizure this evening. This site was the first place I could think of to go after the seizure had passed. Dr. Lucy was fantastic and she was spot on!

DebbieUSA

I must tell you I found this site by accident and was amazed when I asked a question of the Veteranians online. I wish I could have found it sooner it could have made such a difference in the outcome of my pet's surgery. However, I am passing along the information to my sister-in-law (a cat-rescue person who is also a nurse), and perhaps it will help someone else who may experience the same problem. The doctor who answered my question was amazing, and while it didn't come it time to change the outcome of my situation, it is reassuring to know the caliber of Vets/Doctors that you have at JustAnswer. Thank you for being there.
