Whereas asprin can be used in cats for pain relief and to reduce fever I do not normally recommend it because there are far better alternatives (eg Metacam). These are only available from your vet.
If you are to use the asprin the dose is 5 mg per pound (10 mg per kg). The most important thing is that dose should not be repeated within 48 hours as cats have a much slower excretion rate than humans and dogs.
