What is the function of the urethra in male and female cats? Also which organ has a similar structure to the Adrenal glands with the names the hormones produced in the adrenal gland.

The urethra is the outflow from the bladder to allow evacuation of the waste fluids during urination. The urethra in both sexes passes urine to the outside, and also has a reproductive function in the male, as a passage for semen and fluids from the prostate gland.
