Reply to Terri Riba's Post: Th kitten is about 7 days old,

I have stopped the formula since the mother cat is know staying with the kitten.

I just worry that the kitten is not getting enough.

The kitten has not grow at all

is there a way of telling if my cat still has milk to givr?

Dear friend,

If the baby is quiet and content like you say then she is gettin enough milk from mommy.

When a kitten is hungry it is restless, crying, whining and fussy. It also cannot sleep well.

So it sounds like she is fine but keep a close eye on her for any problems so you can take right over:

Here are some links to how to feed and raise an orphan kitten:

One of them recommends goats milk and give you recipes for home made kitten formula.Use a dropper if she cannot drink from a bottle.

Just keep her warm and well fed

May God bless you for taking such good care of her.

Please let me know how the baby is doing. If you have more questions along the way, I will always be here for you and happy to help

I hope your baby will be fine.

Very sincerely,
