Customer Question

My kitten has an inflamed anus and has had diarrhea (sometimes uncontrollable) for about a week. She is eating and drinking like usual. Any ideas?

Your kitten likely has intestinal parasites. I would take a stool sample into the vet for evaluation. Coccidia is very common in young kittens and comes with the symptoms that you describe. It would be best to have her evaluated but your vet may be okay with just taking a stool sample in if she has been seen recently.
