Tabby is a color pattern of stripes or blotches to the fur.
A Bengal cat is a purebreed cat that fits a breed standard above and beyond the coloring of the coat. You can see the breed standard here and some pictures too

A bengal should not have traditional tabby striping in the pattern called mackerel tabby. This is a thin verticle striping pattern.
