YES! Spaying or neutering your pet is one of the best things you can do for him/her. It use to be recommended for females to do it before the first heat, or around 6 months. For males, 6 to 9 months. Different vets will tell you different things, some are spaying around 4 months and I have even heard of some done at 6 weeks. But absolutely it is a good idea to alter your pets!
