Resolved Question:

Can cats get a head cold? Mine has recently started sneezing, his eyes are running a little and he's not quite as active as usual. He's eating well, but seems to be more tired than usual. He's only 7 months old.

Cats get Upper Respiratory infections (cat colds). It is best to put him on antibiotics to keep him from developing serious secondary infections like pneumonia or bronchitis.
If left untreated he may stop eating if he cannot smell his food.
Since he is already starting to become less active and not feeling his best - it is advisable to have the vet take a look at him today.
