Typically, anytime a bird is attacked by a dog, I recommend an ER vet visit. The shock will need to be treated with fluids to maintain good blood flow. I find these babies to be very sensitive to shock and there is not a lot to be done at home besides monitoring for breathing difficulties and lethargy. Do you have an ER vet nearby?
