Hello and welcome. I apologize that no one responded to you sooner. Different experts come online at various times. I just logged on and saw your question. My name is ***** ***** I'm a biologist with a special interest in avian health. Experiments have been done with B12 supplementation in broilers. You can see one such study here: studies had similar results . The supplemented broilers were found to gain weight faster and produce more breast meat.

B12 is a water soluble vitamin. Studies of possible adverse effects in broilers have not been done, but studies on other animals have. No such effects have been found. Because the vitamin is water soluble, the body generally excretes any excess. If you have more questions, let me know. I wish you success with your broilers.Anna
