My primary concern is a conjunctivitis caused by Mycoplasma bacteria. This is often self-limiting but can cause more serious respiratory illness in canaries. Terramycin ointment contains oxytetracycline which is an antibiotic of choice when addressing Mycoplasma. It should be administered to each eye thrice daily for a minimum of 10 days. A tiny drop should suffice at each administration. Terramycin can be found in some pet/feed stores or online such as here: Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
