This morning I noticed that...
This morning I noticed that my 15-year-old daughter's left pupil was much larger than the other. It only lasted for a few seconds, and we haven't noticed it again since then (6+ hours ago). Since it's the weekend, all doctor's offices are closed. Is this something that requires an ER visit? I asked her if she's had any headaches, and she said a couple of weeks ago she had a slight pounding behind her left eye but it didn't last long and hasn't happened since. Thank you.

Thank you for waiting.
I am very sorry for her symptoms.
Small difference of pupil size can be seen normally.
It can occur temporarily without any reason.
Again it can return to normal.
Without any other symptom, it is not significant.
It would not require ER visit.
If it returns & persists then an examination by doctor needs to be taken.
I hope this information will be helpful.
If you have any query, please feel free to ask.
If you are happy with my answer please click on the Excellent/Good rating.
Wish her healthy life.
Regards.

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
