Thank you for your question.
I am Dr. Su S.
I will try my best to help you.

Did she tell about the size and color of the worm?

How many were they?

Did it happen once?

It happened once. I just looked again What should I look for What do eggs look like

Thank you for the input.

Pin worm can cause itching but may not always produce symptoms.

Other worms usually do not cause itching or other symptoms.

Tape test usually detects pin worm but it may need repeated test to confirm.

Stool, blood test for antibody can be taken.

Worm should be treated but it is not an emergency.

You should make an appointment with his doctor to make plan for further test.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Since it only happened once per my daughter although I didn't see it so you think she needs a lab test or tape test or should I just watch it. HOw long is it safe for her What if it's not a worm . What will happen if I do nothing
Expert:  Dr. Su S. replied 10 months ago.

You can watch till she has symptoms or sees worms.
Tap test or stool tests are for confirmation.
It may not cause symptoms as I wrote before & complications are usually not serious.
