Hi there. Is the lump protruding over (external to) the rib cage or does it seem to be under the rib cage lifting it up?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Seems to be on top but I really can not tell

It would be wise to have this area examined by a pediatrician. It could represent a congenital abnormality of the skin, rib cage or an underlying organ such as the spleen. With a careful exam and appropriate imaging (e.g. ultrasound, CT, MRI) this can be properly diagnosed and treated, if necessary.
