Customer Question

my four year has very small, hard bumps which are not red, but itchy. they have been present for about 5-6 days, and are on his right thigh, his elbows, and a few other places. he had a cold virus (the croup) about 3 weeks ago, and had a rash for a few days subsequent to that. the rash subsided, and then the bumps appeared. any thoughts? should we take him to see our pediatrician?

Thank you for your question.

The bumps can be due to a few causes.

There can be bites which can cause bumps with itching.

You can continue benadryl.

An skin infection can be there too.

If the bumps do not subside or increases in number, please get him examined by doctor.
