My 14 month old has pimple-like bumps on his arms and legs,

Customer Question

My 14 month old has pimple-like bumps on his arms and legs, a few on the face (none on torso or groin). Noticed a few of them about 5 days ago, now there are many more. They don't seem to bother him. He'll scratch occasionally, but it could be more about the bumps and less about the itch. I'm guessing it's just hives-- but wondering if it could be something worse. I can reply with photos.

Hello, Please upload photo. If there is no fever or yellow tip to bumps, it could be hives. Try cetirizin or benadryl. If filled with water, could be chickenpox.

No fever. They don't seem to be filled with fluid or have any color. Is there any concern about hives? It seems to be a very broad term for a lot of unknown things. Pics attached.

Yes. The pics show small bumps and could be bites or some toxic skin reaction. No medicines apart from cetirizin required and you can expect them to heal within few days naturally. Please avoid any new dishes if taken before rash appeared.
