My 13 month old baby has swelling in her area front of her

my 13 month old baby has swelling in her area front of her right ear.If we touch its hard,but she does not feel the pain,we took her to a near by pediatrician and he gave some antibiotics but still she has not be recovered fully.Last 2 days she is having fever.Our GP says its a bacteria or viral infection and it will settle has the day progress.Need some advice on the same.Last 2 weeks the area in front of her right ear has swelling.She also has cold.

Hello, Sorry about this illness. Could you upload a picture of the swelling using paper-clip like icon?

There seems to be a bacterial condition and a blood test may decide from CRP level reading.

If swelling is not bacterial in origin and does not subside, a needle aspiration biopsy may be done by pathologist.
