Customer Question

Our son, age 4.5 years suffered neurological brain damage when he had a prolonged hypoglycemic episode in late January. He has recovered to the point that he is developmentally at the stage of an 18-month old (more or less). A little over a month ago he began having drop seizures and was diagnosed with Lennox-Gestaut Syndrome (LGS). Since beginning the seizures, he stopped making progress in speech recovery and began to scream incessantly. He screams most often when he is upset, but also when he is excited. If we pick him up or lay down with him, it calms him and stops the screaming stops for a while. OUR QUESTION: Is there anything we can do to stop or significantly decrease the screaming?

Very possibly.
However, first, what has the neurologist recommended?
