White stool can be due to dietary change. As she took more milk product like cottage cheese, whole milk that can be the factor. Avoid milk product for a few days. Watch her stool. If it is persistently white, then stool and blood test should be taken to rule out liver and gall bladder issue. Stool can be pale or white when there is lack of bile. Bile secreted from the liver is stored in gall bladder to be released when food enters the gut or intestine. It gives the stool its normal color. If you have any query, please feel free to ask.
