Temperature below 95 degrees is called hypothermia & is considered an emergency. The commonest cause is exposure to cold environment. The other causes can be infection, shock, effect of medicine etc. In bad diarrhea there can be loss of fluid causing fall of blood pressure & shock like state. It is a good decision that they are heading towards ER. The environment car temperature should be kept warm. Hot water bag wrapped in clothes can be kept under his bed. Cover him with blanket properly.

Could Zofran cause a drop in temp. He has been taking this every 8 hours. He was unable to walk. He said he was too weak, He has had a virus effect his muscles in his legs before.

Zofran is unlikely to cause it. Weakness can be due to dehydration , & loss of electrolytes due to diarrhea.
