A possible cause would be straining causing a hemorrhoid. These can be internal.
A fissure could be another possibility.
An intussuception [bowel collapse] can happen in general, usually causing intermittent abdominal pain and bleeding but not all symptoms have to occur, so any bleeding in a child has to warrant an examination by the pediatrician.
Inflammatory bowel disease can cause bleeding but again usually with other symptoms.
Infection, same story.
Constipation with straining.

There are many other less common causes. Without associated symptoms, there is a higher probability of a harmless cause. But given the duration she must see the doc.
Good Luck.
