Sometimes you have a virus that really doesn't make you feel bad, or a food that just doesn't agree with you. If it has not been in the stomach acid and enzymes for very long then it will be undigested. Remember that most of the digestion takes place in the small bowel, not the stomach. Your stomach just starts the process of breaking it down.
