Can my 10 year old son take Zantac or Pepcid for acid

This answer was rated:

Can my 10 year old son take Zantac or Pepcid for acid indigestion? I'm thinking of just giving him milk which I heard will help the problem.
Hi, jove - Yes, children can take Zantac or Pepcid. In fact we use these medicines in babies with acid reflux. If he has an upset stomach, you can give him 1 over-the-counter Pepcid or Zantac twice a day.
But don't give him milk if you give the Pepcid. The milk may interfere with the medicine.
Maalox works better than milk anyway.
I hope this helps.
