How can I become more patient with my 6 year old daughter

Customer Question

How can I become more patient with my 6 year old daughter when she's throwing a fit over not getting her own way

Take a moment and breathe. Getting locked in the battle won't help either of you. Feel happy that she is strong and learning to assert herself. Certainly pick your battles with her. Anything that involves her safety or that of others needs intervention, but other things she is demanding could be let go. Can you provide an example of a situation?
