My second husband has verbally abused my granddaughter - 4

Customer Question

My second husband has verbally abused my granddaughter - 4 years ago. She has since moved to a different state and I am not game to have her back in MY home - she was 13 at the time. He verbally abused her 14 year old brother on Monday night and followed that up with a hit to the head and 3 punches in the chest - his language and carry on frightens me. I need help. How do I handle thhis situation - I know what I would like to do but he can be a good man - he drinks a lot and isn't always like this but seems to have it in for my grandchildren why. Please help me.

Hello...Tell me first what does your gut instinct tell you that you should do? Put the kids first and think about their overall safety and well being.
