Is it okay to wash my 5 almost 6 year old just twice a week...

Customer Question

Is it okay to wash my 5 almost 6 year old just twice a week... she doesn't smell bad and she seems to be very clean still. She definitely brushes her teeth twive a day and flosses once a day and brushes her hair before school and before bed.

I would at least every other day.

(not meant to be offensive in any way here)
When you are exposed to smells and odors all the time, you will grow "deaf" to that smell. However, the other kids will be keen to new smells around them.

EVERYONE has an odor. Some more than others.....Sweating will make that odor worse.

Avoid her embarassment. Kids notice and they can be pretty cruel about it. I remember one kid way back in kindergarten who had an odor problem...believe me, kids can be cruel.
