My husband has a history of right knee problems dating back

Customer Question

My husband has a long history of right knee problems dating back to his time in the Marines, but he was recently diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, they suspect a Connective Tissue Disease such as SLE. He recently had an MRI that came back - normally there is more detail, but we need some help with the following:
4. Small joint effusion with lateral suprapatellar fluid extending to the infrapatellar space and postoperative change lateral infrapatellar fat with intermediate signal and 4 mm thickening again noted. This may contribute to mechanical symptoms. No loose body or significant bursa! fluid collection.
5. Stable postoperative change medial meniscus without evidence of acute slash recurrent interval meniscal injury. Intact lateral meniscus.
6. Minimal thickening proximal fibers MCL and mid-distal fibers visualized iliotibial band, normal variation or chronic injury.
